Curio 2019
The team’s Regular Class entry for SAE Aero Design India 2019, marking its second consecutive year of participation. Curio is an innovative design featuring a highly modular architecture. It is a bi-wing or biplane configuration that, due to its design, can also be flown as a monoplane. It was named “Curio” (meaning a rare and unusual object) to reflect its unique design.
The aircraft was highly appreciated by the judges for its innovation in design, and the team secured 2nd rank in the technical presentation at the competition.
